Dylan has caused waves in his second season in training, bolstered by his value-for-money purchases that have outperformed their price tags. He now turns his head to the cash-rich racing on offer in Dubai, and we are thrilled to partner up with him with this youngster. KING’S CALL was shrewdly purchased for only 40,000Gns off the recent Tattersalls Horses In Training sale.
After discussions with Dylan, the mandate was to find a young and tough sprinter to compete in Meydan’s cash-rich series of races. Despite the high prizemoney, the division is usually relatively weak. We are looking to take advantage of that gap. We also wanted to emphasize finding a horse with natural speed that can handle firm ground—step in, KING’S CALL.
KING’S CALL made his much-anticipated debut at Ayr in July. Importantly, it was run on firm ground. As expected, KING’S CALL performed professionally and had the race at his mercy from start to finish. His action on firm going showed his athletic ability and economic manner of covering ground.
After this debut win, he was aimed at a series of top-level juvenile races, competing with the very best juveniles in Britain. Disgraced in none, he performed particularly well in the Molecomb Stakes (Gr3) at Goodwood, finding strongly to the line in top-class company. His efforts earned him a 95 international rating!

Starting from off the pace, he comes home well over 1000m to grab second. He will clearly be effective over 1200m at Meydan.
